The first beer brewed by the Chimay monks, this Belgian dubbel pours copper-brown with a fruity, faintly spicy nose of apricot and caramel. The body is smooth and lightly sweet, drying out through a warm, balanced finish. A versatile food beer that pairs beautifully with stews, mushrooms and semi-hard cheese.
