This Belgian kriek is built on a lambic base steeped with morello cherries, giving a deep ruby colour and a nose of ripe cherry and faint almond. The palate is fruit-forward and gently sweet, balanced by a refreshing tart edge. Serve well-chilled as an aperitif or with cheesecake, dark chocolate or vanilla ice cream.
