Brewed by Trappist monks, this Belgian strong dark ale shows deep aromas of dried plum, fig and brown sugar over warm caramel malt. The palate is rounded and lightly spiced, with a smooth, dangerously easy finish for its 8%. Pour into a chalice at 10-12C and pair with stews, mushrooms or dark chocolate.
