Averbode is an abbey-style Belgian blonde ale brewed in the Norbertine tradition, pouring rich gold with aromas of honey, pear and gentle clove. The palate is fuller than a standard blonde, with soft malt sweetness, spicy yeast and a warming, dry finish. Serve in a chalice with roast poultry, creamy cheeses or pâté.
