Chimay Red is the original Trappist ale from Scourmont Abbey in Belgium, a dubbel-style copper ale of remarkable smoothness. Aromas of caramel, apricot and light spice lead into a rounded, gently fruity palate with a soft, warming finish. An approachable Trappist classic, lovely with roast meats, mushrooms or a semi-soft cheese.
