The lightest and least common of the Rochefort beers, this Belgian dubbel pours reddish-brown with a nuanced nose of caramel, dried fruit and herbal spice. Smooth and refined, it balances gentle malt sweetness against a dry, faintly tart finish. A graceful, food-friendly Trappist ale for cheese, charcuterie or stews.
